Maybe you misunderstood me but I did not mean that I wanted to see an orthotist who did not have specific experience with the STARband! I said that I would be willing to drive as far as Atlanta for someone with experience but if you could find me someone closer with a little less experience I would consider that too. I took your word for it when you told me that you felt very comfortable sending me to this new orthotist. I didn't know that you would feel comfortable sending me to someone who wasn't at the time even certified to do the STARband. If you had told me that he hasn't even been to a course on them then maybe we wouldn't be in this predicament. I wish that back then I had the knowledge that I have now about these helmets. I am not personally attacking Glenn either. He is a great person and really wants to learn the STARband and make a difference with them. He has been so great to see us but I just wish he had more experience. I am really just frustrated with going two months with no adjustment that to me is major time lost. I didn't have the knowledge back then about what to specifically ask the orthotist. If only I had found this board way before we got the STARband.
