Guest guest
Hi I can highly recommend Dr Neil , i had alot of personal dealings with him years ago with my eldest Son, Conor. Dr succeeded in getting conors seizures under control where as other Doctors had tried and failed, i found him to be very easy to talk to and he explained things very well too. Dr. Neil H. Guest guest
, just an after thought, if you are already having dealings with a hospital and are unhappy, do what i did, phone him direct, i sopke to his secretary and explained the situation (basically Conor was spending his life either in status epilepticus or totally sedated and was having a double adult dose of rectal diazepam as emergency treatment and he was only a small baby - very worrying time for me) his secretary passed on the message 2 hours later he telephoned me back and i got Conor tranfered over to his care, within 4 months Conor was on a totally new cocktail of anticonvulsants but this time they worked, he stayed on that dose for years i think until he was about 7 yrs old and he was spending alot of the time awake, whereas other Doctors didnt think that he would be able to be awake the severity of his seizures and the amount of meds they had him on. x To: autism-biomedical-europe From: michelle0471@...Date: Wed, 28 Sep 2011 16:36:48 +0000Subject: RE: Paediatric Neurologist Hi I can highly recommend Dr Neil , i had alot of personal dealings with him years ago with my eldest Son, Conor. Guest guest
Hi ,We had a very good experience with Dr Kinali at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital - however her area of expertise is neuromuscular illness and that was exactly what we needed to investigate.(I wasn't sure if seizures was the area of expertise that you are after.) She was very thorough and methodical and knew all the best tertiary referrals. Her manner is a bit abrupt but we didn't care about that, just wanted a thorough investigation of the problem. http://www.excellence-in-paediatrics.org/content/dr-maria-kinali Children’s Neurology Service Chelsea and Westminster Hospital369 Fulham Road LondonSW10 9NH T: 020 3315 8645 All the best, Darla Can anyone recommend one please? Preferably in London or the south? Thanks x

Guest guest
Hi We also see Dr Kinali for seizures and like Darla said she is very methodical and though and will work through options with you. We are still having seizures but they have been reduced. The only down side right now is that she has just had her second baby and is on Maternity leave for 6 mths. There will be a replacement but when we were there two weeks ago they were unsure as to when they would arrive. Guest guest
email me off list. I have found what looks to be a good one with relevant research interests but I don't know how mainstream he is yet. We are seeing him at end October. Got referral through NHS. Depends what issues you want dealing with, I am going for tics, epilepsy investigation and " autism " related to autoimmunity. Eileen > > > > > > Can anyone recommend one please?
