You know Prabha,

When I hear the word " frog " I can think of three things only- 1) I never

stunned/pithed a frog during 2nd MBBS even though I had a tough time in teh

pharmac finals- in fact my lab partner used to get so cross with me because she

used to say she will get all the sin!! (Sangeeta Kanakia by the way) 2)The poor

squashed ones I saw all over S'gram during the rainy season 2) In " Shrek 2 " the

king is actually a frog in the form of a man!!- to think his queen never knew!!!

Maybe Kishoreda will think more kindly about them after your write up!

lack of fondness for frogs/toads. At least the camel is useful, and can run away

from danger. Frogs are pathetically poor in the looks, audio, usefulness AND

self protection departments. They just sit around and wait to be swallowed by

snakes and squashed by cars. I have frogs trying to visit my house - I sweep

them off the verandah and they fall on the ground with a thud - and they just

SIT there and LOOK at me, for heavens' sake! Why can't they take the hint and

hop away? I can't shake away the feeling that snakes looking for a nice

froggie meal will follow them to my house!!!!
