Guest guest
Add me to the list. I have a rare autoimmune disorder (Pars Planitis) and still have elevated ANA (antibodies) that they can't figure out. My reproductive organs and hormones are all out-of-whack too, which is why it's unlikely I'd ever be able to have kids even if I wanted to. (Makes me wonder if I sabotaged my own body somehow, making it unable to reproduce because I've always been terrified of parenthood.) --- Cyndy wrote: > This no-good child suffered from an autoimmune > disorder called > itiopathic thrombocetopenic purpura. Guest guest
Add me to the list too. I suffer from chronic fatigue, sleep problems, constant muscle tension and pain, TMJ, and moderate to severe back pain (for which I've had surgery that only made things worse). None of my symptoms are debilitating enough to diagnose me with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia (I guess I should be thankful for that), but they certainly interfere with living a " normal " life. Similar to S Leigh, no doctor has ever really been able to figure out why I struggle with these things... I've been alternately diagnosed with narcolepsy, depression, lyme's disease, and " it's all in your head " , which actually may be the closest to the truth. I also have Epstein-Barr antibodies although I've never had mono. Without an " official diagnosis " , I am often greeted with skepticism by friends, relatives, co-workers, bosses, doctors, etc. I think most of them think that I'm just " whiny " . BTW, my nada is diagnosed with fibromylagia and various sleep disorders. I think she's a KO as well as a BP. Hugs, Anon --- S Leigh wrote: > Add me to the list. Guest guest
Yep, add me to the list with depression, although since October when I divorced nada, mine has lifted considerably! However, this last weekend I thought I was going to die. Turns out I now have diverticulitis. I seriously think that my weakened intestines occured as a child when nada would make me take Fletcher's Castoria. It induced terrible diarrhea. I never thought much about it until my first dd went to visit her as an infant and grandnada got really concerned over her bowel movements. A year or so I found another bottle of that evil stuff in her cabinet - what you wanna bet she used it on my child? Regardless, now I will take some responsibilty, tho, to control it with a better diet and some exercise (not my favorite word). Guest guest
Try psyllium or pectin to give you dietary fiber. That will help. Guest guest
I have sleep problems too as well as back pains caused by muscle blockades, due to the muscle tension; sometimes I am getting tired too easily and there where few periods in my life, usually after stressful events, when I could not help to fall asleep - sounds like a narcolepsy - and my friends and coworkers laughed about it too. I learned to fight it with coffee, but my body can't take a lot of coffee for some reason, so I had careful plan, when I will drink coffee. I also have binge eating disorder for 8 years and gain weight because of this. Depression ... well never been diagnosed, but never went to doctor about it. I think I have depression.
