Hello Again,

I know for a fact that something is wrong with my test. Maybe something

else I take interfered. I don't know. why they didn't test me for the

Duragesic Patches? I took an Oxycontin pill at 6:am that day. Plus the day

before I had taken my full dose of my Oyxcontin and Oxy Ir. I almost always

take my full dosage of Pain Meds. There is only a few days out of the month

I don.t.

Both of my meds should have shown up. Plus I told you about the drug test I

took before getting my last job. I was taking all of my pain meds at the

time. This test came back negative and none of my pain meds showed up.

These 2 incidences don't seem to coincidental for me. There has to be a

good explanation for these tests not coming out right. I have taken Pain

Pills for over 5 years now. A day hasn't gone by where I haven't taken some

if not all of my recommended dosage of pain meds.

My guess is that one of my other meds or possibly a vitamin I take is

fouling up my test results. I have heard from other people who have had

similar experiences with urine drug tests that weren't accurate.

How accurate are these tests any way? I doubt that these tests are not 100%

accurate. I want to solve this mystery. So that hopefully this won't

happen to me again. How likely will it be that another Doc. will treat me

for my pain, since the Pain Clinic terminated my care?

I also was upset that my regular Pain Doc. left the Clinic with no notice

and she didn't tell her patients. She was on vacation and then decided not

to come back to work. About 6 months ago she had told me that the Clinic

might be shutting down. Then she said she wasn't positive but she thought

the Clinic would stay open.

The Doc who owns the Clinic owns quite a few other Clinics in town. The

Clinic's are all different. The Pain Clinic has always had more patients

than they can handle. Now with 2 Doc's gone and the head Doc is rarely at

the Clinic, they only have 1 fulltime Doc available. The Doc's were already

over loaded I can't imagine this 1 Doc taking over 2 other Doc's over loaded

cases. I say Doc's but they are really Physician's Assistants.

Sorry for rambling on. It helps me to talk about it. I am still quite Mad.

I am still trying to magically come up with another Doc who will treat my

pain. Preferably within the next week before I am out of my pain meds.

This is probably almost impossible.

This whole thing is going to change my life for the worst. Before I saw the

Pain Clinics I wasn't able to work. I was in unbearable pain almost every

day. The Pain was ruining my life or should I say I was letting the chronic

pain ruin my life I have a lot of joint damage in my feet which causes me

a lot of pain. Plus now I have some damage in my lower back that causes me

pain every day. A lot of days even with the pain meds I still have really

bad pain in my back and feet. Never mind the other more minor pain I suffer

with daily; hands, wrists, knees, shoulder and neck pain. Plus my health

has been getting worse since March. I am currently on Medical Leave because

I haven't been well enough to work.

Now just when I am feeling almost well enough to work, I am hit with this

major problem. I am not ready to go back to living with all that pain

again. I finally have a decent job that I really don't want to lose. I

don't want to go back on Disability. These are all very real concerns that

I have.

My Rheum. says that not much can be done for the damage I already have.

Again all comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
