Guest guest
Hey there Elly, Melt here; Big frowns about your not feeling well. It is wonderful to be with family, but takes a lot doesn't it? Glad you liked the card. Sometimes we have to snuggle and sleep to feel better, I believe our bodies know. I'm happy to hear your son's surgery went well, and that you got to visit with so many family and friends. I do hope you can find some answers about the pain, tis time girl to get on with those tests. LOL, you will let us know how goes, I hope. Very good to hear from you, till soon, smiles to you, Melt > Dear dear friends, > To all those who sent me cards and wondered about where I was,I thank you > with all my heart.I am and have been sick for about a week, and true to my > personality,I did not slow down like I should have.My son's surgery went > very well, thanks I'm sure in part to my friends prayers and good wishes. They > moved his nerve over and removed the damaaged parts of two discs. Now he has > healing pain, but is able to do things he couldn't before the surgery, like > sit!lol Anyway,we had Christmas with him and our daughter-in-law and our > daughter and son-in-law and 3 of our grandchildren on the 23rd and earlier > with my sisters and other daughter-in-law and grand-daughter and all other > family members .I was so tired. We always celebrate with friends too,so that > was the 22nd.On the 24th we came back up north and on Christmas day my > daughter and family came up and our grand-daughter Ryenn stayed and will go > home on Tues.My arm is so bad I can't really use it to reach or lift or > anything,I've got to get that dopler test soon!I have also been having pain > in my liver on the day after my mtx shot, anyone else going through that?It > makes me crazy because there is no position that makes it better.Ok enough > whining,I am so sorry I couldn't get cards out this year,my hands just don't > let me write long. Guest guest
Oh Elly, Hi there friend!! So happy your son's surgery went well!! Sounds to me like you were very busy over the Christmas Holiday! Glad you got to visit with your loved ones and enjoyed yourselves. Can't comment on the day after Metho shot in the liver, " cause I take the pill form. Doesn't sound right to me though. If you don't get an answer that satisfies you from someone in the group...ask your doc. Now, Elly...behave over the New Years holiday..no more " party animal " stuff...or you end up paying for it! Oh go ahead have some fun, just don't overdo. Know I'm thinking of you, and know I care. Love, Tricia my absence > Dear dear friends, > To all those who sent me cards and wondered about where I was,I thank you > with all my heart.I am and have been sick for about a week, and true to my > personality,I did not slow down like I should have.My son's surgery went > very well, thanks I'm sure in part to my friends prayers and good wishes. Guest guest
Sue2-- How much slowing down did you " really " do on your break? I hope a little anyway! I hope enough to really feel good over the holidays! This knee thing sounds like they want to do arthroscopy. (Clean it up) My teacher last semester had that done on both his knees and only missed one week of work for each knee!!! My surgeon told me I have to get my knee done by Spring. That's ALMOST enough time to heal the shoulder I guess! (ITs really doing well) But in the last 2 days, guess what...the OTHER knee is killing me! I see the surgeon for a follow-up exam on the 7th and will ask for cortisone shots in BOTH knees to get me another 3 months on them while the shoulder is healing. I am glad you took a little breather friend, do this often for yourself in as many ways as you can. If an afternoon nap is out of the question, then maybe a warm cup of tea on the porch daily or SOMETHING just for YOU each day. (EACH DAY!) Love you lots...Sue
