for all of us. The idea of camping has been brought up. I think that would be

fun! Send me your ideas, and I'll get back to each of you.

Wait for me.......Wait for me..... I'll be back in Michigan on April 15th

and would love to travel to me some of you. Where in Wisconsin are you? I

was also thinking that, depending where you are, Chicago might be a middle

meeting place. I'm about three to four hours away and I'll bet there are

others in close states that would be willing to get up and go to a mini

conference. It would be better to wait for the snow to go away first, don't

you think? We could all stay in the same hotel and chat away!!!!!!

Carmen,

That does sound like a fun idea! Just think...we could all sit in the whirlpool

soothing our aching bodies and share laughs and RELAX! We would definitely have

to wait until warmer weather though. I have fibro, and cold breezes and snowy

weather isn't my favorite (or most comfortable) time to be sociable. I'm still

going through a battery of tests anyhow, so I don't think I could go anywhere

too soon. My son does go to college in Chicago (and I will be seeing him this

month for 'family weekend'), but I'm definitely not looking forward to the drive

if the weather is it's normal nasty February-type temperatures!

Anyone else out there with any ideas? Let's put something together...come on,

we'll all enjoy it!

About a Wisconsin " conference. "

When visiting with Tom last October, we talked of

some kind of " Stilligan " get together in Wisconsin.

As most of you know, Tom has some very interesting

" friends " that live with him. He has snakes, and some

other little ones that need tending to on a regular basis,

and Tom isn't always able to go very far from home.

He lives near Wausau, WI. The rest of us, who have

dogs and/or cats can usually find someone to take care

of them for us for a couple of days. Tom has a more

difficult time to find someone who will " snake sit " etc.

But, he " really " would love to have a get together of some

kind. As he *is* the man who started this support group,

it would be super great to have Tom there, and hear his

story about why he started the group etc.

Where this would be held? I don't know...maybe Tom could

tell us where he would suggest, and the rest of us could work

around that.

Then, I would also think that anyone who wants to meet there,

would be welcome. I know there are several in neighboring

states who'd love to meet.

As to camping....that's up to everyone else. My idea of camping,

is a Motel 6..or a Super 8, or Holiday Inn. hehehehehe!

As to everyone sitting in a hot tub together..forget it. My husband

will be with me, and I'm not shoving him off in a corner somewhere,

but, he'd never get in a hot tub with anyone other than me. So, if

everyone else decides to sit in a " hot tub " ..that's fine with me, I'll

visit from the sidelines.

Also, whoever wants to meet, their immediate families should be

more than welcome.

Proabably another suggestion would be the month of June. School

is out then and that might affect some. If we start going later than

that, everyone gets too busy doing other things. (I just remembered,

Elly will be in Wisconsin for a family reunion...I think in July though,

also Marty will be in Wisconsin for a family reunion..don't know

when?? ...)

Just my opinions..for what they are worth.
