Guest guest
Hi I thought both forms of lactoferrin re-distributed unavailable iron back into bloodstream therefore increasing haemoglobin and reducing iron stored in tissue. Please correct me if I have this wrong. I've been using life extension recently as we open capsules and the kids tolerate the taste much better than one I used previously but I don't want to be using it in vein. BWAlison R Hi We also use Spatone sachets for iron, ideally in some orange juice. Rare cooked meat is also excellent, as much of the blood as possible. I use Lactoferrin with colostrum from Allergy Research Group from revital.co.uk alongside Solgar Gentle Iron. I might be wrong but I thought Jarrow and Life Extension were apolactoferrin which lowers excess iron rather than increases it? > > > > Dear all, > > > > My daughter who is 14 has been eating paper and chewing ice which I understand is due to an iron deficiency. > > > > She has been on the GAPS diet for several years and has one liver meal per week. > > > > Can anyone suggest anything else I can do to improve her iron levels? > > > > Thank you. > > > > .
