Guest guest
Hi Wildthing! Thanx for your response.hope you dont mind,If I ask you a question, you know it always my nose goes slight front! why is this your name wildthing? I am sorry,Is it due to Asthma? sometimes when you experience hard things you may like hard things.wildthing, looks hard name! BTW, what is the real alternative for Advair? If ICS + LABA combination is not working then what is going to work? I have heard that ICS + LABA is much better than singulair though I havent tried still. Is there anybody experienced singulair? can it bring MAGICs in life? I am not going to take oral steroid. Is there anyway one can infact find whether one drug is increasing asthma or not? simply because if I stop taking advair for 4 days and may be even due to coincident I feel better isnt it? Many Greetings, Senthil Kumar.S. > not use advair for 4 days.those days,I felt really better an > > > talk to your doctor about your feelings > it may not be helping at all > > HUGS!!! > PRECIOUS MARIE > JESUS LIVES! > mother of Tomas-spinal bifida, hydrophaleus, sciolosis, > right ear deafness, epilepsy (Tonic-clonic, absence, complex partial, > simple partial, atonic, myoclonic), left-field blindness, tethered cord, > allergies, ezema, lazy eye, developmentally delayed > Anastasia-ezema, allergies, nosebleeds > -mild mental disability(MMD),ezema, allergies, asthma > > > > >

Guest guest
Senthil, My alternative for advair was just the inhaler but since they have put me on a whole bunch of stuff. But I didn't get another inhaler like advair I got aerosol with steroids but my asthma is not in control still but maybe it could be if I stopped my exercising. HUGS!!! Guest guest
Hi wildthing, Thanx for your reply.Infact my asthma was very well controlled one and half years before.that time I was infact doing yoga.whatever happens,I never get an attack.I have stopped yoga exercises since I noticed that it brings a mild shaking for me.probably that time I started having asthma attacks and I was put on regular medications.Infact once again I have started yoga but that time it didnt help me at all.may be I didnt do severely as I was doing initially due to the fear of shaking.but then I expected some amount of improvement which was not there.Infact I started having attack after yoga exercises.why I am saying is that sometimes exercise looks like helping sometimes its looks like not helping.I think it depends on whether you have got inflammation or not,I mean whether asthma is controlled or not.once its undercontrol may be exercises strength/regulates the functioning of lungs in that sense it may be helping.but when your asthma is not under control you may be see a opposite reaction.well, this conclusion I have got from my experimenting with yoga (though I cannt say it as a perfect experiment since some of my other health conditions prevent me to do a perfect experiment!) and I dont know whether its correct or wrong.another interesting point is that when I restarted yoga that time I was under advair which infact contains bronchodilator (LABA - salmeterol) well, you may be knowing that nobody still knows whether these bronchodilators helps or make the asthma worse. for example salbutamol is not recommended for regular use. though salmeterol can be used with ICS.what I mean is that I really donot know whether taking this medicines stops getting benefit from yoga.In buteyko exercise they say that one should not take brochodilators regularly. BTW,I dont know about other exercises whether it helps for asthma or not though sometimes I feel great after walking! Guest guest
Tks! Guest guest
I won't lie Marie. It took years. I'm a stubborn person and I wanted to do what I want and not have limitations. But then after paying worse and worse consequences for my stubborness, I had to accept that I had to change my life which at first just made me depressed, but I'm learning to live again. Hugs, Angie PS - Sorry this is so late.
