Guest guest
Hi Ravin, Yes,I think,he was some, Mishra. Not only was he a chronic patient, but any undergraduate student alloted that bed, would really get nightmares,b'cos, 1.He,would know by then, that the patient was a V.I.P.,in that unit,he/she shouldn't be messing around with him. 2.Having learnt the art of history taking that very term, this particular history would spell doom for the whole 2 months of that student's posting,as the History of present illness would go some thing like...The patient was alright since 5 YEARS, yes 5years ago,and then developed.......,which was sure to invite a barrage of unanswerable questions from Dr.V.K.Mehta,THUS CUTTING SHORT,all the enthusiasm and joy of coming into a surgical ward. The better part of that same patient would be the diagnosis and treatment, which the patient would tell to all the undergraduates making life a bit easy, while answer short case findings, etc. Those wonderful days, truly. Shyam (84) Re: Dr V K Mehta Dear Shyam, I too remember that " fistula in ano " . As far as I remember that patient would come and go (and stay months) for a few years! :-) Ravin '82 ------------------------------ Website: www.mgims.org ------------------------------
