Guest guest
Could you tell me how much l-theanine you use for rages? I give my dd 4 capsules a day - one at each meal and bedtime, but I don't give it when she is having a rage. We also use a lot of 5 HTP. Thanks, Kim > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Vicky > > > > > if you got a moment could you tell us what as benefit your DS > > > > regarding his > > > > > OCD? my son is the same and we are moving into danger territory > > with > > > > him > > > > > picking his fingers up to the point of drawing blood and several > > > > layers of > > > > > skin have been stipped down from around his fingers ....this is > > > > friking me > > > > > out at the moment he just can stop it. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
fwiw, 5 HTP was a rage producer here. My daughter tolerates tryptophan fine but not he 5 HTP. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Vicky > > > > > > if you got a moment could you tell us what as benefit your DS > > > > > regarding his > > > > > > OCD? my son is the same and we are moving into danger territory > > > with > > > > > him > > > > > > picking his fingers up to the point of drawing blood and several > > > > > layers of > > > > > > skin have been stipped down from around his fingers ....this is > > > > > friking me > > > > > > out at the moment he just can stop it. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Thanks . Does anyone know what test would pinpoint intolerance to 5 HTP and it's metabolites? Would an OAT screen for toxic metabolites of tryptophan or 5 HTP? Would love to know if the stuff I'm using to calm her down is actually making her sicker/violent... we do use lots of 5 htp (and lots of l-theanine, melatonin, GABA, inositol, kavinace etc) Kim > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Vicky > > > > > > > if you got a moment could you tell us what as benefit your DS > > > > > > regarding his > > > > > > > OCD? my son is the same and we are moving into danger territory > > > > with > > > > > > him > > > > > > > picking his fingers up to the point of drawing blood and several > > > > > > layers of > > > > > > > skin have been stipped down from around his fingers ....this is > > > > > > friking me > > > > > > > out at the moment he just can stop it. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Kim, I don't know now to pinpoint it scientifically. This diagram helped me a bit. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tryptophan For us, the tryptophan is ok. Everything that hits that serotonin segment[5-htp and ssri] caused great distress. My unscientific take is that the tryptophan shuttles to the B3 pathway as there may already be too much serotonin. She also tolerates melatonin. GABA and taurine were nasty here - seizure producers, which is very contrary to what most say. It seems like she wastes taurine w high urine and low plasma but never have figured out what the co factor is if any. Some of those 'calmers' just don't do it for the specific child. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Vicky > > > > > > > > if you got a moment could you tell us what as benefit your DS > > > > > > > regarding his > > > > > > > > OCD? my son is the same and we are moving into danger territory > > > > > with > > > > > > > him > > > > > > > > picking his fingers up to the point of drawing blood and several > > > > > > > layers of > > > > > > > > skin have been stipped down from around his fingers ....this is > > > > > > > friking me > > > > > > > > out at the moment he just can stop it. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >

Guest guest
Leanne,Great to hear a first hand review of Lutimax. I was looking into it a while back but I wanted to introduce it at a time when I wasn't changing anything else so that I could judge it's effectiveness so still haven't gotten round to it. Really good to hear about the decrease in hyperactivity, that was one thing I was afraid of. If you don't mind me asking, how was speech before the lutimax? Also do you happen to know if lutimax a GMP product? Guest guest
This is way more than an antioxidant!!!!! The site posts little....and is being given hard time by FDA...call the line..you'll get the real info..the founder, biochemist and immunologist will speak directly to you!!!! I do not know what GMP is? My son is verbal but stuttered and was slow processing...this stuff decreases the brain inflammation, increase oxygen to the brain, and boosts imune sytem, increases glutathione and has a chain effect of other things positive in the cellss....conitively very intact, appropriate, able to concentrate better, less verbal stimming...can sit and concentrate...I can live with him:)) Less OCD, less anxiety. Most importantly....less brain injury if given on going throughout the day on a empty stomach...the nice thing is the site will give bulk prices...this is a supplement my son will never do without. I myself have serious immune issues Lyme, CFS etc...its making a huge impact on my health.....sleep improcved, more energy, less brain inflamation, positve the whole way......you will not be disappointed..you'll notice results pretty immediate...give it a few days..even more..a week incredible......I am so thank-ful I found this!!!!!!! Tell all the moms please..order the one with l-theanine..and all natural immune support and calming formula....dont wait....
Tell all the moms please..order the one with l-theanine..and all natural immune support and calming formula....dont wait....Leanne To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: moppett1@...Date: Tue, 6 Sep 2011 08:52:01 +0100Subject: Re: Re: LTheanine for anxiety - also antipsychotic http://lutimax.com/This is an anti-oxidant.Keep us posted. Thanks, x To: autism-biomedical-europe Sent: Tuesday, September 6, 2011 5:49 AMSubject: RE: Re: LTheanine for anxiety - also antipsychotic Have any of you tried Lutimax with L-theanine....working amazing for my son...speech fluent, no stutters, decrease hyperactivity, less defiance and obsessions its 59 a bottle..for us on ly lasts 2 weeks..but it is worth the results..Leanne To: Autism-Biomedical-Europe From: mbrookh@...Date: Tue, 6 Sep 2011 00:30:33 +0000Subject: Re: LTheanine for anxiety - also antipsychotic Kim,I don't know now to pinpoint it scientifically. > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > Vicky> > > > > > > > if you got a moment could you tell us what as benefit your DS> > > > > > > regarding his> > > > > > > > OCD? my son is the same and we are moving into danger territory > > > > > with> > > > > > > him> > > > > > > > picking his fingers up to the point of drawing blood and several> > > > > > > layers of> > > > > > > > skin have been stipped down from around his fingers ....this is> > > > > > > friking me> > > > > > > > out at the moment he just can stop it.> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >> > > > > > >> > > > > >> > > > >> > > >> > >> >>
