Guest guest
I'm not sure. I don't think so since our Dr has to call the prescription with several refills into the pharmacy. We use Hopewell Pharmacy. They deliver with an ice pack to keep them chilled. --- & Don Stebbins wrote: > Quick Question-- Is it possible to get B12 shots > without a prescription? Guest guest
Hey Beth, It's tough even if you know it's coming, isn't it? Good that you're ready though! We did both ABA and Floortime together. It was the ABA that got him talking around the age of 3.5 (started at 3) and provided many other crucial skills but the Floortime rounded out the program and provided lots of good fun (we all needed that). Also, we had many friends and family who wanted to help but not all could help with the ABA (not their style) but they had no problem with Floortime. As for hours, it was 10-15/week of ABA and the rest was Floortime and other stimulation. He was a very busy boy for a while! > > Reply-To: autism-georgia > Date: Tue, 27 Jul 2004 01:29:31 -0000 > To: autism-georgia > Subject: what works? > > My 22 month son was diagnosed with autism today. Guest guest
Hi~ What worked best for us was eliminating all dairy/casein containing products, corn syrup, and artificials. Biomedical supplementation was also a must. We stayed "in his face" and did/said everything over & over. He has always been expected to behave appropriately, like his siblings- as we want him as independent as possible. We motivated him until he became self motivating. My son is now 12, and I worry about him less than my NT kids. He has always been in a regular classroom all day, without an aide, and participates in many team sports and school activities. There are ups & downs along this path, but your son will make it if you never give up. Lowering your expectations will cause him to lower his. -S GA > > Reply-To: autism-georgia > Date: Tue, 27 Jul 2004 01:29:31 -0000> To: autism-georgia > Subject: what works?> > My 22 month son was diagnosed with autism today.
