Guest guest
Hello My Friends,I hope I don't seem redundant when asking this question, but I would like some feed-back from individuals.I am aware of the different circumstances surrounding the ability to work on the job.'The stage of disease a person is degressed from, ones individual attitude and regimental processes used to succeed.'For me! it has its ups and downs.........I am in the fourth month of treatment and have only missed two days from the job.......Admittingly,I have faked myself-out(a few times) to be there ,but it has worked for me! I am a stage 2/my viral loads at the onset were 150 million/since then,I have dropped to the 55 million range...I work for a large food service company,as a mechanic, working on the fleet diesel trucks(lots of heavy work)! The medications have had lots of drawbacks but for the most part the numbers have been good,or should I say..... better! If there is anyone who would like to communicate their personal situation,it would be welcombed. My regiment is;I work a 4-day work week ,which gives me an extra day to rest before returning. My first day-off is Friday..that is when I do my injection (peginterferon 2a,180mg).Each morning (3),200mg's and each evening before bed(3)200mg's (Ribavirin).....in addition to the evening dose,I add an anti-depressant,(Effexor) 75mg's ,and finally a very high-dollar sleeping aid(Restoril)......My Doctor's(whom I think are the best)were very reluctant in giving pain medication, but (IF NEEDED) I take(2.5mg's), a low dose of hydrocodone/1 every six hours
