Guest guest
Hi, I just want to thank all of you for your support and info. Our son, Simon, got his first cast last week and is doing well. When they called us into the recovery area and first put him in my arms, I just wanted to burst into tears - he was so HEAVY and hard (I thought I was prepared, but the actuality of it was another matter!). I kept playing through my mind what all of you said, that he (and we) would get used to the cast fairly quickly, and that was such a comfort. Now, a week later, he's happy and learning to get around fairly well and we're all getting back to " normal " . : ) We did have to go back and have the bottom trimmed in the front, and around one armhole - that was one of the more traumatic things we've EVER done and I pray we never need to do it again. Anyway, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! -Patrice
