Hi ,

Actually this did happen a couple times, Theresa ate something she

thought had eaten. When she found out the mistake she had such

severe prolonged panic I drove her away from home late at night to

get her away from the other kids. Maybe if it kept happening she'd

get desensitized? (Btw I was then ready to try meds for her again,

but the p-doc said she needs to get her weight up). The tricky part

though, is she decided to fast the folowing day to correct the

mistake. But I see what you are getting at, it is an exposure

approach.

The trick approach has occurred to me too, but I'm tkinking if she

finds out (I would be scared of her finding out!!!) she will again

fast to be able to start the ritual over " fresh " and she (according

to medical personnel) cannot afford the lost calories. I almost

regret getting her weighed/assessed b/c it puts us in this pressure

ridden liability driven medical system now.
