All we need to do now is work on his physical strength because he can barely crawl anymore, but at least now we have something to work with. Anyhow, I have a question for you about his immune system... In April right before we left GA. 's IgE was 499, now it is 926. His IgA was really low (don't remember the actual number) and now is 114 (normal). And his IgG on IVIg was always between 550-590 and still is....BUT his IgG subclass 2 was high at 322. The doctors are questioning weather or not he needs to even be on the IVIg anymore as are we. Would having a staph Epi infection cause these numbers to rise like this? Since he has just gotten out of the hospital from a major infection they are planning to go ahead with his next infusion, but then maybe take a 3-6 month holiday and see what the numbers do...and if they stay up, continue to watch them a couple times a year for a few more.
