Guest guest
I am willing to not take the Wellbutrin anymore (have taken them for years, off and on for approx 8 years). Just hope I don't sink too low. I am going to count on you all for support if I do! I am not eating broccoli, b.sprouts, cabbage, califlower, chickpeas/legumes, nectarines, peaches, peanuts, pears, sweet potatoes or strawberries (the goitrogenics I do like). Only meds I am taking now are the SRT3 total of 75 mcgs a day. I used to have panic attacks bad 2002/2003/one ER visit...but the docs said it was the stress at work..I got sent to intensive outpatient treatment and pumped up the anti-depressants and added anti-psychotic meds too...so grateful to be of all those meds....grateful that I have your support to get off the remaining 200 mgs of Wellbutrin. -e-

Guest guest
Just do what makes you feel safe and secure. If going off Wellbutrin is too much, don't hesitate to lobby your GP for an antidepressant/antipsychotic that doesn't contradict your thyroid meds. I have numerous friends who are on psychotropics for life because they have chemical imbalances in their brains. Because of my family history, I may be one of those people some day. You may also find that when your T3 levels are optimized, that you don't need psychotropics. Either way, it is great that you are being so proactive about your own treatment! Way to go, Eva! >I am willing to not take the Wellbutrin anymore (have taken them for >years, off and on for approx 8 years). Just hope I don't sink too >low.
