First time doing this premix that was supposed to be 36 minutes but ended up taking 51 minutes between checking a phone message, setting up equipment, changing weights and especially, having to pause it then rewind it to know which exercise we were doing next. The premix frequently cuts out Cathe's comments about what we're doing next and goes right into her standing there ready to the do the first rep, not even showing her getting her weights so I had to pause it to figure out what equipment I needed (band or dumbbells and then which size), grab it and get in position to start. I am very glad I had a list of all the exercises so I could refer to that to see what we were doing since the premix didn't have her say it. I had a record of what weights I used when I did the whole workout back in June and also needed time to check that to see what I might want to grab this time. I figured out after a while into it that the premix was mostly doing 1 set where she did 2 (and I think it cut out 1 or 2 exercises) so I was able to go a lot heavier than I did in June (but noted in my log that I was doing the premix with just one set so I don't wonder how the heck I did that next time I do this workout). I also pushed myself pretty hard in general. The June workout was the only time I'd done this and didn't know what weights would work. I usually put a star next to a weight when that one is just right and an arrow up or down to indicate that I need to try something different next time but this had a lot of weights with no markings so I started with whatever I had written down and went up where necessary. Around the middle of the workout I just automatically grabbed heavier weights and that worked well.

I was supposed to do cardio today but the foot was finally feeling better, but not 100% last night so I figured let's not push it and substituted this Cathe, that I had down for Friday, instead. It worked for me. I didn't even join DH & DD in a short workout last night because the foot was bothering me enough then. I've been wearing my cross trainers and orthotics all day, even at work instead of pretty shoes and will today too because that seemed to be helping a lot. Someone remarked at my 6:30 class this morning that I looked cute in my running shoes & dress slacks! It is working though. I just hope the foot doesn't start bothering me again when I go back to less supportive shoes for work. I really don't want "nurse's shoes" or other "ugly old lady shoes." I'm planning, as long as I'm better by tonight, to do a short, low impact cardio (probably ) at 5:45 AM (my "favorite" and only time for tomorrow).
