::Small Steps Lead to Great Changes::

Change can be overwhelming. Whether it's getting back in

shape or finding a job you really enjoy, making

improvements in your life can sometimes seem too much to

handle. But it doesn't have to be that way. There is a way

to get what you want in life without being overwhelmed or

intimidated.

The secret is in taking small steps towards your dreams or

goals. By taking a large change and starting at it slowly,

you'll have the confidence and motivation to keep heading

in the right direction. In the end, you'll look back to see

a huge accomplishment and a happier you.

- Making the Impossible, Possible -

For many, creating the kind of body and healthy lifestyle

you want isn't an easy task. This is exactly what one of my

close friends, , dealt with in her recent past.

She had been telling herself for years that she needed to

lose weight and get in shape, and as the years passed, so

too did her chances to take action. This cycle continued

for some time until she put this idea to use in her life.

Instead of thinking she had to redo her entire life in the

span of five minutes, she simply took the first small step

towards improvement.

lived only two miles from work. She took action and

began walking to and from work each day. It was a small

step, but one that brought her one step closer to her goal.

As time went on, she took more and more steps, all driving

her in the right direction.

Today, is in great shape and is truly happy with

herself and the way she feels. She has more energy and life

in her than ever before, and it all started with a small

step.

We all have reasons for not taking action. A lack of

confidence, fear of failure or embarrassment, and a host of

other obstacles keep us from living a truly happy life. But

we can all take small steps towards our dreams. And as time

goes on, those small steps will join to become a massive

life improvement.

- Slowly but Surely -

Sally wanted to go back to school. She had spent the

better part of a decade away from learning and away from

the subject she first went to college to study, and she

missed it. She missed the feeling of learning new

information, challenging herself, and the excitement that

comes from being curious.

But going back to school with kids, work, and all the daily

hassles didn't seem to be in her realm of possibilities.

Perhaps she could simply check out the school's admission

guidelines on the Web. This is exactly what Sally did, and

that was only the beginning.

She next contacted the administrators explaining her desire

to study and her situation at home. After exchanging a

little more information, Sally realized that night school

fit her needs perfectly. What began as a dream turned into

reality for Sally in a very short time because of the small

steps she took.

Through small steps Sally was able to add a great deal of

happiness and accomplishment to her life. She is like many

people, feeling overwhelmed at the first thought of

changing her life, but she also is like many people in that

she was able to take small, successful steps towards her

goal.
