Guest guest
Dear Tricia, Kim, Patty, Steph, , Caroline & Traci, I want to sincerely thank you for caring about me so much last night. I was VERY scared and therefore, did call my doctor. I called my rheumy since it seems that I see him more than any other doctor now a days. He told me to take some Ultram and rest and if it didn't subside to get right to the ER. I started with this very strange and paralyzing pain and I felt it come up through the back of my shoulders, very quickly...I could actually feel it rising...well within a few minutes, it was full blown and I was totally paralyzed and couldn't move, and this pretty much all happened after I got off the computer with all of you. I couldn't move my neck and the pain was horrible and then my ears actually turned bright red and were on FIRE and it felt like I was having two horrible ear aches along with the pain through my head. I couldn't barely stand anyone talking to me. I took 3 ultram after I got off the phone with my doctor and about 3 hours later, I could finally move. Before I fell asleep, my oldest son told me that I was mumbling and not making any sense at all and this made him scared. Today, I have a small bump underneath my right upper arm, just above the elbow which is extremely painful and I have another one, the same size just above the kidney and I couldn't lie on my back last night for anything, this pain in my lower back was really hurting, so I went to bed very upset and very uneasy with myself. When I awoke, I was very sore this morning and my hands were huge, so I called the doctor and I saw him today. He felt the two lumps and just shook his head, and the one in my underneath the arm, he thinks is a lymphnode and the other, he has no clue and is very curious about it, so for now, I had a ton of blood work because I was so swollen all over today. I am back on 20mg of prednisone and a sleep aid also and I will see him next week and talk to him Thursday regarding my blood results. I am still not so comfortable with what happened last night...we all know that feeling, we all know our own bodies, so I am still very uneasy and tired, so I am retiring for the night, but I wanted to let you know that I am okay and felt bad that I missed conversations last night or today. Marty, I am so glad that the doctor is helping you, but your injections sound so painful. I think of you often and I know that you haven't been feeling too well lately. Rest friend and be good to that hip. I will talk to everyone tomorrow. Much love as always, and thank you again for all the wonderful help on migraines. Everyone has some great words to pass on and your concerns meant a lot to me and to know that friends care, really touches my heart. Have a wonderful and pain free night. Love, sue #
