Guest guest
Hi Gaye I couldn't find a good picture saved on the digital camera, so I'll take one tomorrow afternoon and email it to you. I saw this email in my support group. A few of us with this disease found eachother and it has really been a God send. Since meeting them nearly 3 years ago, we have lost two beautiful people to this illness. One was a 35 year old mother of 10 yr old twin boys. The question comes up a lot about how rare it is. Doctors are amazed when they see my medical file, as most have never seen anything this rare. Makes me believe God gave it to me for a very special reason I just don't know yet. The International Stills Disease Foundation published my story, and even a poem I wrote on their website at www.stillsdisease.org. Thanks again for your kind words and prayers. It's very strange to physically feel so badly, but to feel so blessed at the same time. I'll get that photo as soon as it stops raining, and you can see just how far we (really poor Rick) have to go before Christmas!
