Guest guest
Hello All, I am reviewing a polysomnography which shows 60% of sleep time is spent in Stage 2 sleep, and somewhere between 0 - 11% in Stage 3/4, the slow wave sleep associated with feeling rested. (REM is 19%, just a smidge below "normal"). I have worked at C4 to decrease sleep onset time and that seems to have worked, but deep sleep is not yet achieved. There is global hibeta. I am under the impression that Delta in sleep originates in the front of the brain and travels back, but I'm reluctant to train beta down, especially on the left. Does anyone have experience with slow-wave sleep disorders, and ideas about how/where to train so there's more deep sleep? Thank you.
