Someone sent me this after I replied to his email asking about autism and Pitocin use. I never heard about Pitocin having a contamination rate and now I am wondering. His son had low apgars at birth due to severe fetal distress of unknown cause, and was fine until school age, showing signs of autism problems until he died from suicide at age 17. He is trying to relate the autism to the Pitocin his wife received. Here goes:

GailThanks for your reply.I have read the package insert for pitocin. The list of side effects is scary. However the most scary thing is that there is a 16% contamination rate. I called the manufacturer and they confirmed it. They also confirmed that it was per dose. When I asked them what the impurities were I was told it was proprietary.Obviously they are hiding something. That was for the PI dated 2004. I also got a copy of the 2003 PI. It said that the impurity rate was 25%. I wonder what it was in 1984, when my son was born.Would you drink a glass of water that had 16% impurities. , much less take it directly into the blood stream and into your baby.It amazes me that people who know about this can just not imagine that, with all the problems that kids are having today, like autism, that it could possibility be caused by millions of babies being given anything that is 16%-25% contaminated with "secret" substances. As far as the Thimerisol is concerned, if it was the major factor or a necessary factor in the rise in autism, and it is discontinued, then the rise in autism should abate. I haven't heard anything to that effect. However I am having problems finding recent information.R-------------- Original message ---------------------- I understand your hurt and pain with your oldest son.
