Guest guest
Dear list, A client (15 y) with ADD had 10 sessions of neurofeedback now. She just started her new school class, but her teachers already think she will run into trouble this year, as she is not able to focus on verbal explications. She accomplished so far because of intelligence and will power, but the general view is that she may have reached her limits. As she reacted very well on ocasional Ritalin (with exams, before holidays), her parents parents wonder if a daily dose of Ritalin would interfere with neurofeedback treatment (even when she is doing neurofeedback after the active period of Ritalin). The idea is that she will take Ritalin as long as neurofeedback doesnot result yet. Does anyone have experience with simultaneous Ritalin prescription and neurofeedback training? If compatible, do we train only at Ritalin-free periods (that is: no more Ritalin active in the brain)? Kind regards, Jan Schene
