Split Sessions - Coffey Meyer

So this week I chose 's Split Sessions from her 30 Min to Fitness sereis.

This one is faster paced with slightly higher reps, compared to her Weights

workout. I liked it well enough, considering this isn't my favorite style of

weight workout.

I did the Lower Body workout on Tues and the Upper Body workout earlier today.

There's also a short (15 min?) lower body floor work chapter that I plan to use

as an add on tomorrow, too. started the leg work with a band around the

ankles, like Cathe's firewalkers. I used 's ankle cuff band thingy,

wondering if it would be too light. No worries, I was feeling the burn of the

fast pace soon enough. ;) I did get to do two of my favorite exercises -

deadlifts in the lower body workout and good mornings in the upper body workout.

does a lot of little twists on the exercies that remind me of CLX, but the

speed was more like the FIRM. More exercise detail another time.

It's basically 3-5 miles a day, 5 days a week with optional mini challenges. I

hope she updates daily on her blog like she has done in the past, but maybe it's

a Facebook thing now. :( I don't do Facebook. Either way, I liked the idea, so

I printed out the calendar and started today. I did a mile on the tmill to warm

up for my workout with earlier, and will do at least two more miles and

the mini challenges shortly.
