Guest guest Posted February 4, 2002 Report Share Posted February 4, 2002 Hi all, I am very happy to say Traci felt up the visiting with me last night for about 1/2 hour. She says she feels a bit better and if not continuing today she would definately call her doctor. So I am grateful to have had our visit. I went to an early appt. with the rheumatologist and she said since the RA factor was higher and some swelling that it is an indication of Rheumatoid Arthritis and early Osteoarthritis. The incereased Celebrex was not working so she has prescribed a Disease-modifying antirheumatic drug called Sulfasalazine (Azulfidine EN-tabs) So back to monthly labs and hopefully much better feeling. This medicine is in the same catagory as the Penicillamine that put my Still's in remision the first time around. So I am sure this one will help the same. I am having a bit of a problem getting mail in this morning so hopefully that will be back up soon. Thank you all for your thoughts and encouragement lately.
