Guest guest
hey, momof2, back in late December I posted with a subject line 'money questions' or something along those lines, which is where I got the $$ info on Dr. Launius and Dr. R. You might try going back to then, and look for a reply to me from Jan. But I think, and keep in mind that my memory is shot these days, that Dr. L is about 50 bucks for an office visit, and his labs are comparable to healthcheckusa.com (free T3 $27, thyroid panel $45, or thereabouts). To feel awake and not poofy-eyed again. Wouldn't that be so nice? My eyes are always in pain from being so swollen. > that Dr. L is about 50 bucks for an > office visit, and his labs are comparable to healthcheckusa.com > (free T3 $27, thyroid panel $45, or thereabouts). Guest guest
> > An endo is not going to help you, most especially Castro. They are even more numbers oriented than your PCP. > Well, rats! *Thbbtt* (sticks tongue out and spits. LOL) Why so? I mean isn't that supposed to be their job? ;-) I want to have my antibodies tested. My neck is so thick I have a hard time sleeping at night. When I lay down it seems to get thicker. Plus my eyes- oh, my eyes. *deep sigh* I know- complain, gripe, moan. LOL I try not to, really! :-) Some days I can't help it. I just want to cry. ~K
Guest guest
I got an answer from . Dr. Launius charges just $79 for Free T3, Free T4, TSH and office visit. With antibodies tests added, it all comes to under $150. I did not yet get an answer as to how long it takes to get an appointment. __________________________________________________

Guest guest
I now have an answer for the question of how long to get an appointment. They can usually get folks in the next day, but it may take a little longer for thyroid patients because he wants to make sure he enough time with them.M wrote: so, Dr. L may be able to help with antibodies....hmmm, food for thought....> I got an answer from . Guest guest
Please hang in there, momof2. Once you are seeing the right doctor and receiving the right treatment for you, you'll start feeling better. Good luck and let us know what you decide. You don't have to have an endo to get your antibodies tested. And it's okay. It doesn't hurt to cry. Man, have I ever been there! (((((hugs))))) ) > > > > I want to have my antibodies tested.
