Guest guest Posted October 16, 2011 Report Share Posted October 16, 2011 Good morning all. I haven't posted my workouts for a few days mostly cuz I have been slacking. I took Thursday and Friday last week for rest days. Yesterday I went out for a walk, it was 3.2 miles (5K, I think). It is the same route that I did the walk/run for our Horned Toad Derby back in May. It is on an incline for the first portion of it. I just walked it, but I do feel like I got a good little cardio session in for the day. Right now while our days are nice I like to be outside. If my son's girlfriend feels like it, I will walk it again today after it cools down a little. This morning I did one of my new workouts that I got this week. It is Bob Harper's Totally Ripped Core. It has a 50 min workout and a bonus 10 min workout on this DVD. I did both of them, just so I could call this one done. I really love the workout timers on this all the way through. I love knowing how much I have left to go in workout. I really liked this workout, it was thorough but not killer hard where I would be wiped out for the rest of the day. I'm glad I got this one. Taking a couple of days for rest is a good idea so your muscles can repair and also being outside is a treasure. Enjoy your long walks!
