Guest guest
Hard to say if there is merit in what the Dr. said without knowing a lot more. One large study a couple years ago showed to the chagrin of the researchers that higher protein equaled better bone density and that animal protein had better association with more bone density than vegetable protein. Perhaps Charlie Smigelski has some thoughts. My other question would be exactly which nutrients you are taking that help bone and the amounts. Has anyone else heard of this as a side effect? I think it has something to do with the protein causing you to waste calcium.
