Guest guest
Very good point. Had mine delivered this am, a week ahead of schedule. While we don't know where the storm will hit, it's a good idea to buy the food, water, and medications now. Over the next 24/48 hours, lines will be forming and temperatures heating in the groceries, home Depot, etc.Don't forget to get cash from your ATM, now, and gas up your car.(as if we didn't all know the drill all too well after the last few years!)On Oct 19, 2005, at 10:07 AM, PozHealth wrote:Oh yes......to my fellow Floridians: There's a GOOD chance that Hurricane Wilma will hit somewhere in Florida this weekend, alas, even Central Florida. Be prepared to get your refills BEFORE the storm hits. Stock up on what you need: gas, water, food, and meds. Remember pharmacies can't operate without electricity. I'm 3 weeks ahead on meds because you're allowed to get meds 1 week before you run out, so through the course of several months, I've "hoarded" 3 weeks worth, in case of emergency I'll have them. So, I actually have my regular month's supply, plus 3 weeks worth, for 7 weeks of meds. Barrowpozbod@...
