Guest guest
Somebody mentioned a Japanese MB group that did semi-fasting workshops, and that the diet/cuisine was different/strong. Do you know of any books or articles or cookbooks that feature this different approach? chadMay you be well, Chad Henry Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo! Mail beta. Guest guest
chuya and chiaki hashimoto are the couple. I dont think they have any books in english - I think there may be one in japanese. leslie wrote a great article about her japanese teachers recently I think that if you get some of cornelia ahaira's books (ebay) and lima ohsawa you will get an idea of the style or even some japanese village style cookbooks. It is not so much a difference in ingredients etc just more the feel. Some of that was also apparent to me at the KI in holland Wieke Nelissen's cookbook also has some of that flair and definitely her cooking classes did. maybe a slightly more yang approach? or even that may not be an accurate description. bruce wyatt wrote: Somebody mentioned a Japanese MB group that did semi-fasting workshops, and that the diet/cuisine was different/strong.
