Guest guest
Decided to keep it low impact and quick today to spare my foot any aggravation so I did 's Miracle Mile. I love this one. It is quick but with some more interesting moves and pretty good music. The set is also interesting to look at which I never realized was actually important to me but I guess it does matter because I noticed it. After the 1 mile walk (love the every 1/4 mile markers that pop up too) you do 5 minutes of toning with lunges, pushups and crunches. I really feel the lunges and pushups especially. Short but sweet workout. is not particularly chatty at all, which I also like a lot, but she does count out loud quite a bit more. Not too annoying but I did notice it. Last workout for the week, still need to plan next week's rotation too but will do that soon, I'm really enjoying doing that (much more so than menu planning). Got lots of cleaning to do. Carpets are being cleaned today but I have to dust and vacuum before they come and then Miriam's family birthday party is Sunday (she turned 10 last Sunday) so lots of other house cleaning before then. We're doing a friend party at her dance studio tomorrow and I am so relieved. I really didn't want another sleepover and she was very happy about this option. The studio does everything for us too, including treat bags for all the kids and the cake! She could pick from various dance themes and chose hula so they'll all get to wear leis and grass skirts and learn a hula dance. It will end up costing me about the same as a party here would cost (because of all the food I'd have to buy plus goody bags, decorations, etc.) and I only have to show up and take pictures, plus it wil only last an hour and a half!!!
