Kathleen,

Girl, why don't you give this one a shot, call up the local Univerity in

your town and/or your state university and tell them your situation. They

almost always will be of assistance and I know here in MN they will take you

in within a couple of days. Try it, well that is if you already havent.

Just a thought, I hope this helps...Good luck and my prayers are with you..

Hugs...Nola

Kathleen,

What a mess. You certainly have my sympathy. Will they take

appointments? Or can you try another dental school? I know the best way to

get an appointment at one of them in Texas that I know of -- is to find a

dental student who is going there, and enlist her help and get her to help

you get an appointment. My son tried that a few times very successfully.

Unfortunately, neither of us know any of the students going there right now.

What he did was just hang around the dental school building (outside and in

the lobby) -- usually at the beginning of semesters, and sometimes the

students would come right up to him and ask if he needed any dental work. I

m not sure that this would help, but you might give it a try. Or take the

secretary who books the appointments a gift, or donuts, and enlist her help

-- explaining your sad story. Kathleen, I'll be praying for you and for

your complete success in solving this problem. Good Luck! Think positive,

also!! Hugs, PJ

If you are right, then I'm going to start saying, " I can get through this mess,

I CAN!!!! " I just went to dental school to see about teeth, & I was told that

they " don't take walk-ins any more " , so I am still trying desparately to find

someway to get my implants finished. It's going on 2.5 years since I had teeth,

i hardly have any gums left, so I don't know if the implants would work, but I

have all the metal parts in place for them in my jaws.
