Guest guest
Ah yes, that was the first time I ever had a 70 push-ups challenge...Jari is nutsVennitta I attempted the Jari Love Get Ripped 1000 again. Last time I only managed about 1/2 of it, but this time I got through 3/4... The 70 push-ups are killers (and I modify them), and I don't do a lot of the cardio pylo on the step. This is about the only DVD that makes me feel dangerously exhausted (dizzy, lightheaded, very red and dripping sweat), and fear that I'll trip on the step trying to keep up with her. Takes forever to cool down. I'll wait a while before trying it again. I need something intermediate, though. I'm going to try to lower my carbs and raise my strength training. I like the idea that just HAVING good muscles helps you burn fat and raises your basal metabolism -- plus being strong! For Saturday's workout, I once again worked in the yard most of the afternoon. I was moving bricks and lumber for finishing up a deck project, then I started on more brush trimming. It's a workout in itself, and I glad I am able to do it. I wasn't last year!! Guest guest
It's in my group of virgins... every time I see it in the list I think, I need to try that one. Then I see how long it is (and think about 70 pushups) and say, maybe not today...! ;-) I do want to get to it soon though... Re: Jari kicked me again... Wow, 70 pushups! Guest guest
They were sort-of staggered, in that she started with a set of 16 then stretch, then 14 and stretch, etc...for a total of 70. I did modify mine! I usually do them on the stairs, on my toes. As my arms weaken, I go up a step. Indyrose > > > >> ** > >> > >> > >> I attempted the Jari Love Get Ripped 1000 again.
