Hi Everyone,

The pharmacy we used to compound the fluconazole (active ingredient in

diflucan) does do mail-order service. You need to call with a credit card

number

and either mail the prescription or have the doc fax it to them. They can

compound the fluconazole in capsules with either lactose, sodium bicarbonate or

corn starch (don't use corn starch if your kid is sensative to gluten -- there

may be other fillers they could use if none of those work, those are just the

ones we discussed). They charged us $54 for 30 individual 100mg caps. They can

do liquid as well but I'm not sure what they'd charge or what fillers they'd

use. They are very nice and open to working with customers. The pharmacy is

Custom Pharmacy Innovations in Plano, Texas. Their phone is 972-801-9904,

fax is 972-801-9906.

We're stopping diflucan today and still have about 30 days worth of the

compounded (3 weeks of the sodium bicarbonate one and 1 week of the corn starch

one) and about 25 days of the dye-filled one I'd pass on to someone for our last

$35 co-pay -- just e-mail me privately.
