,

I would only go down one size of diapers if at all. My sons diaper size didnt change but hes worn the same size since he was 9 mos old (18 mos now) Luckly we havent had a problem with poop up the back but i know others have and they have great advice and will chime in. One thing we do use are the plastic training type washable pants that fit over his diaper. We use these at night to protect against pee leaks. I imagine if you find she leaks alot, pee or poop you could use these full time. They really help us. I know Heidi recommends the Kushies brand that you can buy at walmart.com. They are washable and come in a two pack.

Hope that helps!

Hi Everyone -I'm new so I keep thinking of more questions. I read the diapering suggestions on the infantile scoliosis website. Do you buy 1 size smaller or 2 sizes smaller? I wish they made "bikini cut" diapers! Also, has anyone ever dealt with a poop up the back? I know this will happen eventually, and I want to be prepared. Thanks,, mom of Audrey, 2Los AngelesFirst Cast at SLC Shriners

I just buy the "Overnight" Pull-ups. They work just as well as a diaper. I have been using them for a while and had no problems.

,I'm sure you've had many responses but I'm a week behind on posts and will still give you what I do. I put the poise pad horizontally at the top back of the diaper and it has saved me countless times from it getting beyond the poise pad.
