Hi ine,

I understand what you're saying about having to listen to negative

people that complain all the time. It really zaps your energy and

makes staying positive that much harder. However, in that situation I

tell myself that I have a choice: listen to their junk or tune them

out. I guess that's one blessing with hearing loss I can tune out

people around me easily then when they get frustrated with me I can

just say " I didn't hear you " which is true - I didn't but they don't

know if it was because I can't physically hear them or I just chose

not to hear them. Sneaky huh?

No matter what you do in life, you're never going to change those

people around you. They will continue their gripping and moaning

because they want to do that. But you can change your life by

consciously deciding how you're going to deal with them. And by you

saying general, positive comments is a wonderful choice and action to

their whiny negativity. I'm proud of you!

(( hugs ))

~ Kassandra

> Well, it's 4:00 in the morning. I've been hyper for 3 days, then I

got real depressed because of the negative people I live around and

now I can't sleep. No one around. The worse time of the night is this

hour of the morning. Normal people sleep. I'm just feel crazy. Don't

know what to do with myself. When day hits I'm going to call the

senior community center and see what they have available to volunteer

for. Hope they aren't structured and bitchy. That won't work. Just

want to get out and be with humans that are some what nice. The way

these people in my apartment complex complain it's no wonder they

don't all kill themselves. It felt so good to help during the power

outage that now I am on a downer with nothing to do. And then when I

hear people complaining it makes me sick. Either people say nothing

good or they complain. I'll say neutral, general, positive comments

and everyone gets quiet. I don't know...............ine

ine,

You have been doing so well. I have to say I am very proud of you! It is a

struggle especially when we are ill to keep a smile on our faces, however,

you have been a real trooper through it all this time. I just want you to

know I have seen some significant changes in your attitude, your self-esteem

and your daily struggles that life throws us. I see you handling situations

much better then before, you are not a victim anymore and that is a feat all

in itself. Keep your chin up and remember you have lots of people cheering

for you.

I think its a wonderful idea that you want to help others and you are on the

right track, however, lets get you well first. Some of your illness could

be stemming from something else or the daily stress in life. I know when I

was going through all that stress, remember how sick I always was? Well,

now I am sicker LOL I think it is because after the stress finally settles

down the poisons have to be flushed out of that body. I started drinking

more and more water, YUK! I hate water, but I am getting much better and I

even started to lose some weight because of it LOL I am trying to flush out

this body and take better care of it since it battled for three straight

years with all of this, something was bound to happen. Just know that we

are all praying for you and take those vitamins girl (the vitamin lady

here!!) Drink at least eight glasses of water a day and try to eat right

with more fruits and vegetables too. I know that is asking a lot I can

barely do that myself, but I try, just try okay? I worry about you and I

want you better, lots of people need you and are waiting for all your

wonderful help and love you have to offer them. Keep us posted. Many hugs.

ine,

LOL that is more water then I can get down in a day right now, but I am

trying hard to remember to drink it. I have to say I do feel a whole lot

better the next day when I can get down at least eight glasses in a one day

period. They say if you are over weight that you should add an additional

eight ounce glass for each 25# you are over weight too! LOL So now I have

to add more LOL But truly, if you can start adding a vegetable or two at

each meal, less meat and have some carrots stix or celery stix in between

meals that is how you can get all those veggies into your diet. Or the

fruit, have an apple or orange for snack and maybe some applesauce at

breakfast. That is what I try to do. Now let me tell you honestly , your

probably doing much more then me, but I am working on it just as you are so

I won't be so ill anymore. Next is the drudgery of the nasty word

excersize " LOL That one I am really having a problem with since I sit all

day and night working online. That one is really hard for me so if anyone

has any suggestions on that one let me know LOL I used to weight train, lol

now I sit. Take care girl...Nola

As it turned out I am one pill short. The instructions said 4 of a particular

pill per day that would stop the anxiety and help me sleep. I was taking 3.

This two shall pass. ine

As it turned out I am one pill short. The instructions said 4 of a particular

pill per day that would stop the anxiety and help me sleep. I was taking 3.

This two shall pass. ine

Thanks. If I could get some sleep I'd love to walk! But as far as food you are

right. If you take baby steps it doesn't seem so bad. ine

LOL that is more water then I can get down in a day right now, but I am

trying hard to remember to drink it. I have to say I do feel a whole lot

I am about 30 lbs overweight. I drink sugar free Koolaide in my water. ine

PJ wrote:ine, that is terrific!! I hate to admit it,

but you are now drinking more water than I do each day. That is one of my

weaknesses - as I'm so used to coca-colas, lemon slushes, etc. that are sweet

and flavored. So the water seems so bla to me. But, I'm trying to increase my

drinking of water also. I hear you will feel much better if you drink 8 eight

ounce glasses each day. And for those of us who are overweight (like me)! need

to drink more than 8 glasses of water a day. I'm not sure if I'll ever get

there! Congrats, ine! I'm proud of you. Hugs, PJ

weight like myself. YUK! That even sounds real bad LOL You are doing very

well, I wish I could say that I drank four glasses a day of water. Got a

50th Birthday coming up here real soon and I really would have loved to be

The sugar free will kill you. It is made sugar free by using aspartame

which is the stuff in diet cola. There is one diet cola that does not have

this in it and it is diet rite. Do a search on aspartame and find out what

it does to your body. If you need something in your water put a little lemon

in it. Lemon helps you to move the toxins out of your body. If you use

sugar free things, then get some stevia at your health food store. It is a

natural sweetener and is healthier for you. Health foods stores have all

kinds of information on aspartame and it affects on ones body.
