Guest guest
Hi I spoke to a friend of mine today who was also at Brainwave a couple of days before me (quite a lot of Irish families use Brainwave) - like me she reckons that Brainwave would like to see children as early as possible - there is quite a wait for an appointment - I think we waited about 3 months. My friend also thought they were brilliant - her little girl has an undiagnosed disability. Her little girl is now 3 (same age as ) - can't talk, has global developmental delay - low tone (but she can walk short distances). Lets know what wave say. I would love to meet up with you - I live in Dublin but could meet up somewhere with you -might even go to Cork as I have a friend there. It is about a 3 1/2 hour drive between the two cities - I was only there last week with work. What dates are you going to Cork and is travelling with you? I got word yesterday as well that the company in England that is making the 'Second Skin' suit for will be coming to Dublin to fit other children and I should have it in March. Marie Marie Great email - I looked at the Brainwave site last night and was really impressed - it's quite close to where my brother lives. is only 7 months at the moment, do you think that's too young for them? - Will email and find out. We are visiting friends in Cork in the Spring - is that anywhere near you? It would be good to meet someone in person who is a bit further down the whole PMG route than we are and have a chat. Take care Regards. Marie *************************** ADVERTISEMENT ****************************** Learn new skills online.
