Last week I walked 4-6 miles per day. I love fall, and the walks did wonders for my mood, but physically, it was too much. I had a really painful setback.I'm a little better today. I'll start back in a couple of days by focusing on very short, targeted sessions. I love my walks so much, but I'm cutting back by using the bus more. I'd like to avoid having that spinal puncture procedure, so I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go easy for a while.

DH rearranged the living room furniture for me. I normally keep my gear behind the sofa, but I can now get to the gear easily. I wanted easy access to the STS tower, which doubles nicely as a barre for stretching. I'd like something to balance against for standing stretches, static lunges and squats (unweighted, short sessions just to keep range of motion). I also want easy access to the bike trainer. I can't get into road bike position yet, but if I could just sit upright and spin for very short sessions, that would be awesome. I'll try that in a couple of weeks.

I'm so glad DH doesn't care that the gear is out like that.Happy workouts! Happy fall, everyone! It's my favorite season.
