got rid of rebounder

I meant to post this the other day. My daughter and her friend had managed to tear the covering around the outside frame and it was losing the foam. I could have repaired it, but I decided, the few times I've tried rebounding I haven't enjoyed it at all, time for it to go and all its foamy pieces that I was sick of picking up too. I tried following Carolyn's awesome instructions and still could not get the hang of it. Tried doing a little of the instructional urban rebounding video and that didn't help either (hated that actually and couldn't finish it). I posted it on freecycle (explaining the things that were wrong with it too) and it was picked up about 2 hours later. I hope the person who got it enjoys it more than I did. I got it 8 years ago for I think $10 at a yard sale and used it with my son, to help with his occupational and vision therapy (we could do the same exercises he did at school & with his therapist) and it was fantasic for that but just didn't work for me. I don't know if the quality wasn't so hot and that was an issue or if it was just me but it doesn't matter now. I feel so much better not having it stare back at me saying, "You never use me, the girls bounce on me and rip me up but you don't do anything but move me out of your way (and pick up my leaking foam)." It was kind of like having a treadmill that you just hang clothes on and I really have a sense of relief when I go down there and don't have to move it out of my way. The funny thing is, I got rid of it Monday and no one but me (and DH, I asked him if he cared first) has even noticed it is gone! DD's friend used it the most and she hasn't been over all week so we'll see if she notices next time she's here. Doesn't matter though, my guilt for not liking rebounding is gone with it. I'm free! And soon, I'll declutter Balletone and other workouts that do not work for me despite my wishing they would and I'll be more free too (I'm doing the Amazon trade thing with a bunch of workouts, trying to get some Amazon credits for Christmas shopping). Ahhhhh... sorry to all you rebounding fans. Thanks for sharing your enthusiasm, sorry I couldn't catch it.
