Guest guest Posted October 21, 2011 Report Share Posted October 21, 2011 I forgot to mention that on Wednesday, they had called me and moved the appt from Friday to Thursday. Then later in the day, the called me to move it to Oct 31. So, I'm glad things worked out the way they did. I went to work to keep my mind busy. Plus, my coworkers are so freakin' funny. One of them made me a helmet out of bubble wrap. I walked a total of 4 miles, came home, drank a couple of glasses of wine, and made lots of tipsy posts on FB, LOL. Life is good. So, we had a pretty good little earthquake in the afternoon. It was small, but centered 3 miles away from the office, and jarring enough to make people scream like a bunch of girls. The CEO had us evacuate the building for a little while. We just had a remodel, and the building was fine. It just makes a huge racket because it's all wood. So, while we're standing outside, I realized that if my appointment hadn't been rescheduled, at that moment, I probably would have had a needle in my spine. (Or maybe my spleen instead, LOL).
