Guest guest
Dr. mentioned that he would be treating my adrenals first before switching me to bioidenticals, so I am living with broken sleep (wake up after 5 hours, try to get more sleep and then get up at noon). I'm getting more tired with each day. Increased nortriptyline hasn't helped yet, but I'm feeling more sedated. He doesn't want me to do anything like lower my Levoxyl at this point. What does the adrenal support/treatment entail? Is it possible to feel hyper or have my sleep affected even more while this is being done? What have you all experienced with this adrenal regimen? Thanks. Sara PS - is there a way to post so that the lines aren't all broken up so weirdly? How do you all get your posts in different typefaces? I've tried to write mine in Word and then cut and paste, but it doesn't work.
Guest guest
This is interesting. You are the first person I have heard of that he did not immediately start on Armour. You must have really bad adrenal exhaustion.rgrprop wrote: Dr. mentioned that he would be treating my adrenals firstbefore switching me to bioidenticals, so I am living with broken sleep (wakeup after 5 hours, try to get more sleep and then get up at noon). Guest guest
He must have seen how long I've had the anxiety/sleep issues (like 13+ years) and how long I wasn't treated, plus the fact that my increased T4 is not working, and he figured out that nothing much was going to work until the adrenals are able to handle stuff. I've read/heard that it's kind of pointless unless you can tolerate increasing your metabolism. It seems logical to me. Can't handle any stress right now, physical or mental. I remember him saying we'd go slow. I surely hope so. But I would really like to get back to decent sleep. Days too short and nights too long. -- In Texas_Thyroid_Groups , Jan < texasthyroid@y...> wrote: > This is interesting.
