Guest guest
I hope it's not valley fever. I hope your husband recovers fast! Great workout. Burpees are murder!I slept in late this morning, until about 8:30, but I did stay up until about 1 AM last nite watching TV. Then I did Chungs new workout Rapidfire Results. I liked this one a lot. I had a bit of trouble on some of the combos, the one with the elbows and the one with the burpees or maybe they were the same one, I don't remember. I think a few more times thru and I will have it down. This workout moves kinda fast. I did the whole thing through today, it seemed to go fast and I was working really hard. I think I will try a few of the premixes soon. On the abs portion where you are in a crunch position and toss the med ball into the air, I hit myself in the face with it, I don't know how I did that but I was really tired by then, I thought for a minute that I broke my glasses, but thank goodness I didn't. I was sure glad I had decided to use the 4 lb. instead of the 6 lb. ball. Right after that I took my husband to a doctor appt. as he has been running a fever, coughing and feeling crappy for a few days now. Turns out he has pneumonia. The doctor gave him some meds and he has to go back for some blood work on Monday to see if it is valley fever and then back for a recheck in 10 days. I am ready for a nap now so I am going to go lay down for a little while. I will "see" you all when I get up.
Guest guest
Today I had planned to do afterburn, but then after previewing it last nite I chickened out. LOL. Maybe I will do it tomorrow, please note that is not a promise, it is a maybe. I may do my turbo barre to check for glitches instead. I ended up doing cyclemax today. Well anyways to the extent that I could do it. I don't have a spin bike, I only have a regular exercise bike, it's the kind that you can't stand up on. Considering that most of this workout is done standing up, I just did what I could. I plan on getting a spin bike, hopefully some will go on sale for New Year's cheap. I am looking for recommendations if anyone has any. Anyways back to the workout. I did like this one, I think it will be great once I get the appropriate bike. I thought the music was just meh, defininitly could be better. I rarely notice the music in most workouts, but bike workouts are different, you just gots to have good music. I didn't hate the music, but it didn't rock my world and make me want to go harder like bike music should. I don't have a heartrate monitor but according to the bike machine (who knows how accurate those are anyways) I went 53 minutes and 39 seconds, 14.3 miles, and burned 379 calories. I know this would have been better had I been able to stand up, but I also am a cardio wimp so this was plenty of workout for me today. Have a great day all. It is beautiful here today we are currently at 61F at 9:57 AM. I am supposed to go to a luncheon today but I don't think I will, I know I would eat to much and I don't want to do that.
