Hi all - 35 yo mom with newborn, 2nd baby. Severe uterine cramping with nursing.

Midwife says its normal with 2nd babies. Not my area of expertise. Midwife

suggested 800 mg ibuprofen. She took oxycodone at the hospital. She's starting

her COP tonite as she just got home from hospital. Mag phos cell salts?

Appreciate any suggestions.

Hi , Definitely considered "normal" with 2nd, 3rd, etc births. So nothing to worry about per se, but I would do Rubus gemmo @ 75-100 drops bid for the next month, magnelevures and or mag phos tissue salts. I am sure there is a good hp for this too but I don't have my book here at home.... anyone know of one? I've used Arnica montana xmk with uterine cramping after labour with amazing

success. It's worked like a charm every time. When I had my second child, I

kept it in my pocket at all times! The pain would disappear instantly.

It has also worked for all of my patients with their successive births.
