Guest guest Posted July 16, 2004 Report Share Posted July 16, 2004 OK I was trying to figure out where I should take my (3Yr Old) son for a complete educational assessment as well as I wanted to have his chromosomes tested and brain scans.One person had referred me to take him to the Marcus Institute that they had it all at one place...which I am really looking for somewhere that can do it all right there in the same facility...Another Mother referred me to Children's Healthcare's Genetics Dept....Let me add that my son already has a diagnosis of autism from Dr Rubin who I think may work also at the Marcus Institute ...But anyway my son was diagnosed at the Developmental Pediatric Specialists office where he works(other place).Anyone if you can add your input on where I should take him that can do it all-Educational assessment, Chromosome testing and Brain Scans. Let me know your experiences.Now that we know his diagnosis we just want to know about chromosome abnormalities and differences in the brain and an educational assessment to try to ensure he is getting what he should in school.
