Guest guest
Chest and triceps was the focus today, and I decided to go with Cathe again - STS Meso 2, Disc #13, Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps. I skipped the shoulders (those are scheduled for Fri) and *really* liked the chest and tricep work. No pushups in this one (yay!) - but I knew that when I picked it, heh. Staight and to the point. She does reps of 12, 10, 8 but I stuck with 8-10 reps the whole time. I think I'm already feeling it, too, heh. CHEST: Drop sets 12/10/8 Flat bench press 2 warm up sets Flat bench press 3 sets Chest flys (flat bench) 3 sets Incline bench press 3 sets Incline chest flys DB 3 sets TRICEPS: Drop sets 12/10/8 flat bench tricep extensions 4 sets (last set to failure) one arm overhead extensions leaning on ball 3 sets tricep kickbacks 3 sets As usual, these are chaptered really, really well making it easy to pick and choose what you want. I loved the timed rests, Cathe's counting, all the form tips - and the water reminders. I can't see me having the attention span/interest to do a full STS rotation, but I think I can get a lot of use out of the set using it in bits and pieces. :-D I also used the no music option and listened to my own tunes. Made me realize I need to add a new playlist for weights - I have lots of catchy music that I nejoy for cardio, but for weights I like tunes with more...grit, or something. Gotta run - time to walk the dogs and I have a busy day ahead. Happy Wednesday! Sara

Guest guest
Nice job with this, Sara!! I still haven't begun contemplating how to set up/use that rotation, too overwhelmed right now to do it for a while too. I'll keep reading your workouts and getting ideas though! :-) STS Chest & Triceps Chest and triceps was the focus today, and I decided to go with Cathe again - STS Meso 2, Disc #13, Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps.
