Guest guest
Yep, those sweets or colas will do it everytime!! My parents still tell me that my kids aren't affected by what they eat. Wrong!! The sweets do make them hyper, and then they tend to misbehave easier or more frequently. Maybe a protein snack instead -- maybe crackers and lunchmeat and cheese, or something where they can pick out what they want to put on the crackers. Have lots of fun tomorrow -- PJ Beverley wrote:Thank you Nola for replying to me. I am now really glad I went off digest. Both of my grandsons are weightlifters. They use a lot of their energy here. Tomorrow they will be surfing, that will use up some energy. I forgot and gave the youngest one a sweet and the sugar gave him a high. I forget, bye fornow Beverley

Guest guest
Beverley, Weight lifters? I am impressed, I used to lift years ago and absolutely loved it. I still would if I could just get settled in here at my new place LOL Sounds like you have them going in the right direction or maybe they do you LOL Surfing, my goodness, I must be way too old LOL I would fall into the ocean and be found stuck on a rock somewhere if I did that LOL I suppose its not you doing it, I would imagine its them right LOL Yes I am certainly glad you did go off digest. We always need more people to chat with. I am a grandmother also of a 12 yr old, but don't get to see him to much living in another town now. They always seem so busy anyways LOL Well let me know how the surfing day goes and you have a nice evening! ~Nola -- re Nola Thank you Nola for replying to me. I am now really glad I went off digest. Guest guest
Hi Nola, well the day is over, and what a day. We only have one car at the moment, so I got up early to go get it. The boys were still asleep when I came back, so I layed down as well. We all slept in untin 10.30, I was so pleased as I needed the rest. It was so blowy at the beach, and there were no life savers so the boys didn't body surf for a while. I then went and cut and coloured my girlfriend's hair, with the money for that I am getting my hair done tomorrow. My family came over for dinner tonight and that was nice. My stress levels are up I can feel it, feel like eating all of the time. But one day at a time I am getting there, so bye for now Beverley. Guest guest
Beverley, many of us are starting some kind of diet and exercise program in January in the affirmations group. No set diet or plan, just whatever each person wants to try. We can encourage each other, if you are interested! Stress eating is what I do best!! No point in dieting until after Christmas! Keep hanging in there, and have a wonderful Christmas!! Hugs, PJ Beverley wrote:Hi Nola, well the day is over, and what a day. We only have one car at the moment, so I got up early to go get it.
