We just got a communication device for my daughter . It took 9 months!

We live in Tennessee. Just keep on calling and appealing is all the advice

I have. Our insurance said we needed to " explore alternative means of

communicating. " The appeal board, however, agreed with us, so she gets the

device. At one point I called our Senator, Bill Frist, to complain. They

were getting so many complaints that it helped, too. They set up a

congressional committee to investigate TennCare. Anyway, the squeaky wheel

gets the grease, so keep squeaking.
