Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Busy weekend - but fun, too. So not a bad thing, although I'm feeling drained from not enough down time. Anyway - Saturday - rest day - but did some walking around town - but not "exercise"! Sunday - We had a guest overnight and my workout area is right outside our guest room, so I didn't have access to my room in the morning - but I did go outside for a 40 minute walk. Monday - Tried two virgin workouts - Reebok Cardio Tone w/ Sara Haley. I did the main workout which was 3 combos and then a "putting it all together' piece for the last (4th) combo. I liked the first 2 combos the best, the 3rd was a bit slower paced and at times awkward. Each of the 3 main combos is 11 minutes long (according to the cover), the last is 7 minutes. So you, can easily use this in bits and pieces. This one gets mediocre reviews on Collage (3 stars). It was one of those workouts that wasn't bad, but wasn't super, awesome, great, either. The instructor was fine. The combos were fairly easy to follow. I worked up a good sweat (some of that may have been the humidity!) There is an extra ab workout on the DVD as well as a "circuit" style routine. I should give both of those a try at some point. My second virgin workout was Margaret 's Triple Threat - I did the first half of the lower body workout which was a triple seto of abs, inner thighs, and outer thighs. The lower body program is divided into 6 sets and you work each muscle group 3 times. I liked this one. I added some ankle weights and felt the challenge. It is filmed outdoors and Margaret seems very polished/professional in this one. I tell you, MR had grown on me during this rotation! Ok - better focus on some stuff now!Take care - Donna
