Guest guest
Sounds like a day and a good workout.Vennitta Woo hoo! This was quite a deal for $2 and there's another workout on this disc I still need to try!! I LOVED this 32 minute circuit workout. You do six circuits each with 1 1/2 minutes of strength (all body weight and definitely effective) and then 2 1/2 minutes cardio. The cardio circuits are mostly really intense too so when you go to the next strength circuit your heart rate is up and it often stays in a good place during the strength circuit. There's some high impact cardio but she tells you how to modify (I didn't today) and shows some modifications for the strength moves too (like pushups on your knees, I did mine on toes, hooray). You keep moving, for the most part, throughout, though at one point she teaches backward lunges and that seemed to slow things down too much. I also wasn't sure it was necessary for what seems to be an intermediate/advanced workout but it wasn't too much. There's also a 15 minute bonus total body strength workout using light weights but my time was too short to do that today. I started to, then started panicking about time and am glad I didn't do it, I would have rushed through it and not enjoyed it, then rushed through the rest of my morning. I have a very long day today too, working from 10:15 - 3:30 then spend time with kids/help with homework/make dinner and then curriculum night/open house/learn about the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C. from 6 - 8:30 so having a few minutes to relax after my workout seemed important and it has been very good! I also enjoyed a blueberry Greek yogurt from Aldi. I'm finally getting the Greek yogurt buzz. Good flavor but a bit chalky (this kind anyway). 14 grams of protein though so it will help a lot since I eat lunch in bits in my car in between classes today. Now I'm off to do some final prep before I take off. I'm still super behind on emails and postings but will try to catch up little by little as I can.
